On Friday May 20th, 850 people gathered at the Beverly Hilton to honor Lea Michele, Gabrielle Union and Step Up teen, Rocio, at the 13th Annual Step Up Inspiration Awards. SheBrand has the scoop on what was happening behind-the-scenes.

Actress and advocate, Gabrielle Union gave a very moving and empowering speech about her own struggle to find confidence and value herself, as her doting husband, Miami Heat Shooting Guard, Dwyane Wade, looked on. Gabrielle mentioned backstage that it was the first time Dwyane had seen her give a speech. (Awww, seriously cute couple alert!)
