Empowering Women’s Voices:
A Very DIVA Christmas

Liz Dennery christmasIn light of the current wave of attacks on women’s rights (can you say, Ohio), mostly thanks to a racist, misogynistic President-Elect who has emboldened the alt-right, we’ve decided to focus on women’s voices this holiday season.

This month at SheBrand, we donated to three significant non-profit organizations that support women. National Organization for Women (NOW) is an activist organization, foundation and PAC that advocates for equal rights for women. Planned Parenthood is the country’s leading sexual and reproductive healthcare provider, and She Should Run is a non-profit that aims to get more women into elected leadership roles.

You can learn more about these, and other amazing organizations that support and empower women in our notes below. Our sisterhood needs us now more than ever. Please consider making a donation to one or more, and volunteering your time where it’s most needed.

We’ve also created one of the most kick-ass Christmas playlists (if we don’t say so, ourselves), featuring some of the best female voices around. It certainly wouldn’t be a diva-esque Christmas without vocals from Christina Aguilera, Lady Gaga, Mariah Carey, Destiny’s Child, Fifth Harmony and more.
