Whether we like it or not, masks are the ultimate must-have accessory this fall. The CDC has been recommending that people wear masks when out in public for weeks and Governors in states like New York, New Jersey and California have issued official orders. It seems like simple common sense that if one does not want to contract COVID-19 or risk transmitting it to others, mask-wearing is most prudent for the foreseeable future to protect everyone.
But leave it to the fashion community to look at functionality and take it up a stylish notch or two, enabling clients, fans and followers to express themselves in true selfie style with statement-making pieces.
Face masks have come a long way in a few short months and there are many stylish options to choose from this fall. Even better? Many of these design houses are donating some or all of their proceeds to incredible causes that create and give PPE to frontline workers, empower women and get out the vote.

One of our favorite non-medical masks in terms of both style and comfort, they come in a pack of three and are made from Sateen and lined in a soft cream jersey knit. We are partial to the leopard, but there are a variety of great animal prints available. They will soften even more after washing.
Tory Burch Printed Face Mask Set of 5 $35
Featuring seasonal prints, these masks are made from two layers of lightweight, moisture-wicking fabric. To ensure a comfortable fit, each mask has a contoured wire at the nose, adjustable ear loops and an interior pocket that fits a filter (not included). Handcrafted in a small atelier in Dakar, Senegal from recycled fabrics, these masks are triple layered, with two inside layers of 100% cotton and an outside layer in a printed crepe fabric.
Each mask is handmade from exclusive prints of past seasons and is one-of-a-kind. Stitched in NYC by members of the Ulla Johnson design team, 100% of proceeds from each mask are donated to City Harvest and The Bowery Mission.
