One fine day in sunny Los Angeles, designer handbag junkie and My Other Bag Founder & Creative Director, Tara Martin, found herself walking out of a grocery store with an arm full of perishables and a burning question: “if I don’t want to stuff my produce in my Prada, where can I find a stylish, Eco-conscious reusable bag?”
Underwhelmed with her options, she took it upon herself to create My Other Bag: a line of Eco-friendly, sustainable handbags inspired by the designer bags we love, but practical enough for everyday life.
With practicality in mind, but style a necessity, Tara created the perfect “other bag” to tote to the grocery store, gym, beach, airport and beyond.
Over the last two years, we’ve helped Tara get My Other Bag into the hands of many stylish influencers, including: Jessica Alba, Katie Holmes, Kelly Rutherford, Jessica Biel, Emily VanCamp, Garcelle Beauvais and Kourtney Kardashian. They all love the fun, fashionable designs and great functionality of the totes, and have been photographed at the beach, the grocery, out for dinner and everywhere in between.
