1. What are three words that best describe your personal brand?
Energy, Excellence, Warmth
2. Tell us why you’re awesome in two sentences or less?
I’m intensely dedicated to helping women executives thrive professionally and rise to the top. For more on that, check out my book – The Glass Elevator: A Guide to Leadership Presence for Women on the Rise.
3. What are your three biggest indulgences
1) Tony the Tailor – no clothing purchase is ready-to-wear until he nips and tucks.
2) 70% Dark Chocolate – the NY Chocolate Show is my favorite event of the year!
2) Misty my hair stylist – I have a mental block about how much I pay…
4. What is your biggest pet peeve?
When people jump in with their own stories while others are telling theirs. When we simply listen, we can engage more powerfully.
5. If you could have dinner with anyone (living or not) who would it be?
Eleanor Roosevelt – first lady, author, speaker, politician, and advocate for civil rights. She was proud to admit that she was compelled every day to do something that scared her. She pushed beyond her comfort level, and the result was the evolution of one of our most admired and accomplished Americans.
6. Why is having a powerful personal brand important to you?
When others are crystal-clear about what I offer that makes me unique, they choose me, and I get to do more of the work I love: helping professionals power up their Leadership Presence.
7. What is your #1 marketing tip for fellow female entrepreneurs?
Discover your gifts and be generous with them.
