1. What are three words that best describe your personal brand?
Motivating, Empowering, Adventurous
2. Tell us why you’re awesome in two sentences or less.
Well first off Kiwi’s love the word awesome so I feel I have special ownership of it 😉 I’m awesome because I live and breathe a life of adventure by finding creative ways to run my business from anywhere in the world inspiring others to do the same.
3. What are your three biggest indulgences?
1) Traveling
2) Taking time out to be pampered.
3) Playing beach Ultimate in exotic locations.
4. What is your biggest pet peeve?
Lack of integrity, I wrote my first ever rant on my blog about it and got such a great reaction from people who are clearly frustrated by people without it. By this I mean people not showing up to meetings or events, not acting on their word, not being trustworthy, honest or kind in their everyday dealings.
5. If you could have dinner with anyone (living or not) who would it be and why?
Maya Angelou – poet, novelist and human rights activist. That lady is an inspiration. I always use her quotes because they’re just so powerful and wise. I think she’d be fascinating to talk with on a global level about anything and everything from a big picture and passionate perspective. I also just found out her birthday is one day after mine!
6. Why is having a powerful personal brand important to you?
It’s the essence of who you and why you’re unique. I think it takes you on a never-ending discovery of what you stand for, what’s important to you and those you serve and why you’re worth it. It’s no mean feat to sum that up into a brand and so when you do, and people respond and resonate, you know you’ve captured it. From there you can just continue to strengthen it. That’s a wonderful thing.
7. What is your #1 marketing tip for fellow female entrepreneurs?
Quit underrating your amazing talents and stop selling yourself short. You deserve to be your best self so step into your power (Liz will know who I stole those last four words from – Ali Brown). Make sure you do it!
Natalie is amazing. Anyone serious about taking their biz to the next level seriously think about hiring her!
I couldn’t agree more, Paul!
Love it Nat. Miss you in Van. Brett
