1. What are three words that best describe your personal brand?
Glamorous, Cheeky, Girly
2. Tell us why you’re awesome in two sentences or less.
I created a product and brand that allows women of all ages to be the glamorous – Leading Lady and Supermodel in their own life. Period.
3. What are your three biggest indulgences?
Makeup (natch), massages and shoes. And purses. Can I have four?
4. What is your biggest pet peeve?
Negativity. UGH. Don’t tell me I can’t. Maybe YOU don’t think you can… but don’t put those limits on me!
5. If you could have dinner with anyone (living or not) who would it be and why?
Oprah. She built a total empire, is leaving a legacy and seems to have fun doing it all. Oprah … CALL me. I want to be your apprentice. Seriously, consider me for an apprenticeship? I’ll move to Chicago… it’s a pretty glamorous city too!
6. Why is having a powerful personal brand important to you?
Because when your business/product is in alignment with who you are … it resonates with your clients and customers. It also gets you out of bed and feels more like play than work.
7. What is your #1 marketing tip for fellow female entrepreneurs?
Get online. Online tools (Blogging, website, Twitter, Facebook, UTube) level the playing field if you have minimal budget and maximum goals.
I’m a HUGE fan of Vanity Girl and Maxine. I am also the proud owner of one of her vanities AND a branding fiend. Maxine works her brand with sass, style, and swagger. Love it!
Mutual admiration club going here. I first “met” Lisa when I bought her book, and then met her for real in a parking lot during a SmartyLA event (network of women entrepreneurs). She has given me great advice, especially in terms of putting myself out there … on video no less. Love her back xo
