1. What are three words that best describe you?
Positive, Big Thinker and Creative!
2. Tell us why you’re awesome in two sentences or less?
Having nearly died 18 years ago in ICU, I emerged with an enhanced zest for life, for people and creativity and big dreams. Life is too short not to just go for it! I also have a passion for adoption having adopted my son from Guatemala!
3. What are your three biggest indulgences?
When I can, I’m on the hunt for mid-century modern abstract paintings. I have two now, but dream of more. I also collect Perfume bottles from the 1940’s to 1970’s eras. Last, but not least, would be my #socialfiesta event which raises money for orphans in Central America.
4. What’s currently your favorite…
Restaurant: Nieman Marcus Café. (I love having lunch there!)
Shopping Destination: Dallas, Texas (They know how to bring it in Texas!)
Hangout: Home with my kids and husband.
City: Paris, France
Food: Salsa! It’s a food group in my house.
Cocktail: Cosmopolitan
Book/Author: The Success Principles by Jack Canfield
Song/Artist: Rain over Me – Marc Anthony
Website: https://www.tweetdeck.com I love looking at it each day and finding amazing peeps!
Magazine: More Magazine/ Coastal Living
5. What is your biggest pet peeve?
Life is too short to worry too much, but I have to say when I see or experience an adult bully in action….my stomach just turns.
6. If you could have dinner with anyone (living or not) who would it be?
So many come to mind, but I would say: Amerigo Vespuci whom America was named after. I mean what would it have been like to sail the world..not knowing if it was round our flat? A true explorer!
7. What does it mean to you to have a strong, engaging brand and how has having one helped you?
I try to bring fun, hipness and a little cool factor to my business and why not! The Sales Lounge was derived from that- making sales fun with a little faux martini on the side! I believe it has helped me so much because it aligns to me! I tell all of my clients..be sure your business represents the best YOU and NOT what you think others believe it should be.
8. What is your #1 tip for fellow women entrepreneurs?
Don’t be afraid any longer.
Good job, darl’in!!
