1. What are three words that best describe your personal brand?
Motivating, Holistic, Results-Oriented
2. Tell us why you’re awesome in two sentences or less.
On a daily basis, I guide people in creating happier, healthier, more successful and prosperous lives through my book, Facebook and Twitter, and especially during a personalized feng shui consultation with me. Sharing manifestation techniques is my passion!
3. What are your three biggest indulgences?
1) Chocolate
2) Traveling to exotic locations – I am leading a retreat in Morocco in September!
3) Soaking in natural Hot Springs as much as possible
4. What is your biggest pet peeve?
Being unreliable! I respect people who follow through on what they say they will do.
5. If you could have dinner with anyone (living or not) who would it be and why?
Mahatma Gandhi. I read his autobiography in college. Gandhi was steadfast in his vision for independence, walked his talk, and was the living example of his teaching “Be the Change.” He is an inspiration to me.
6. Why is having a powerful personal brand important to you?
Having a powerful personal brand sets you apart from the rest. For me, feng shui is a lifestyle. I believe that in order to change your life, you must breathe new energy into the way you think, speak, act, work, love and, of course, design your surroundings. I support you in creating a blueprint for your destiny within your environment.
7. What is your #1 marketing tip for fellow female entrepreneurs?
If you truly believe in your product or service, YOU are your best publicist! No one can sell my book the way I can. No one is as passionate about feng shui’ing your life as I am. My marketing tip is to be tenacious in sharing the benefits of your business in every way possible. Become an expert by writing articles, posting on Facebook & Twitter, blogging, writing newsletters and always carry your business card. Become indispensible in offering ways to make people’s lives easier!
