1. What are three words that best describe your personal brand?

Luxurious, fashion-forward, and head-to-toe

2. Tell us why you’re awesome in two sentences or less.

Because I crisscross the globe to see all the best designer and contemporary collections out there, and then bring only the most amazing pieces back to elysewalker.com for a totally curated shopping experience. In other words, I weed through stacks and stacks of clothes, shoes, and accessories so you don’t have to!


3. What are your three biggest indulgences?

A twice-weekly manicure with a foot massage (My feet always hurt!)
Staying at the George V during Paris fashion week
Dinner at Mr. Chow

4. What is your biggest pet peeve?

When people wear fashion that doesn’t serve them and/or is not flattering. Clothes should always be flattering first. Fashion should come second.

5. If you could have dinner with anyone (living or not) who would it be and why?

My mom. She passed away when I was 22, and I would love to catch up with her and tell her all about my children and career. And I have so many questions I would love to ask her.

6. Why is having a powerful personal brand important to you?

In a world that’s become overly corporate, people are gravitating more and more to individuality and personalized services. It’s that comfortable, feel-good vibe that keeps them coming back to shop with us. My name is logo-ed up and down the streets of the town I live in and carried on a few thousand shopping bags distributed throughout the year. I want to be proud of that name and know that I have tried my hardest to bring the best pieces, styling and customer service to my clients. I want my name to represent great style and make women smile and feel confident.

7. What is your #1 marketing tip for fellow female entrepreneurs?

Know your customers and build relationships with them. Eighty percent of my business comes from 20 percent of my client base, so it’s essential to build a meaningful rapport with repeat clients.
