Christa Meola is an internationally recognized photographer, speaker, teacher, and author of the five-star reviewed The Art of Boudoir Photography, How to Create Stunning Photographs of Women.

Christa is on a mission to empower women to adore their bodies through private one-on-one shoots in New York City and destinations around the world. Founder of The Online Boudoir Workshop and Creator of The Money Shots, she has taught thousands of photographers the secrets of her successful photography business.

1. What are three words that best describe you?

Present, Passionate, and Creative.

2. Tell us why you’re awesome in two sentences or less?

I enjoy bringing equal parts hustle, talent and insight to every creative collaboration with the women I photograph. It’s pretty awesome to see my subject’s authentic story and brand come to life in my pictures.

3. What are your three biggest indulgences?

Morning cuddle-time, massages and celebratory cocktails.

Tardiness.

I would love to have a conversation with my parents as little kids.

7. What does it mean to you to have a strong, engaging brand and how has having one helped you?

It means knowing who you are and why you do what you do. Being clear on that has helped us evolve how we serve, yet stay consistent at heart. A strong engaging brand also means delivering an emotional experience. By creating that, our company stands out, is remembered, and sought out by the right clients.

8. What is your #1 tip for fellow women entrepreneurs?

You already have everything you need to get started. Keep it simple and know that what you want, wants you too.
