1. What are three words that best describe your personal brand?

Honest, caring, entrepreneurial.

2. Tell us why you’re awesome in two sentences or less?

I am a natural leader with a grand vision to change the way business is done in my industry.  I am ambitious, smart, fun and have the ability to be both analytical and creative.

3. What are your three biggest indulgences?

1) Turbo kick boxing – also known as TKB.  I am absolutely obsessed! I sometimes cancel my weekend plans in order to make the class on Saturdays and Sundays.

2) Books – I probably order 4-5 books from Amazon per month.  Even though its a bit excessive, I do read all the books so I don’t feel so bad about always ordering more.

3) Thai Massages – I am known to indulge in massages on a regular basis.

4. What is your biggest pet peeve?

I have a few…

1) Scarcity mentality.  I believe there is enough for all of us and therefore find it unnecessary to compete for business, especially when we are in different industries!

2) People who do not deliver on what they say they will do.  Either do it or don’t say you will.

5. If you could have dinner with anyone (living or not) who would it be and why?

I would love to have dinner with Richard Branson and Warren Buffet.  Richard is a true role model for thinking outside of the box and creating an authentic brand that will live on for a very long time.  Warren Buffet is a genius in the financial industry and has made his fortune by following some basic financial planning principles, principles I now practice and preach.  I would love to be able to pick their brains while eating a hamburger and Cherry coke (Warren’s favorite) and flying over the US on one of Richard Branson’s private jets.

6. Why is having a powerful personal brand important to you?

It allows me to be myself in life and in business.  I have really struggled with this in the past and would constantly compare myself to others.  Now I focus on my own vision for my life and strive to be the most authentic version of myself possible. I am my brand, so being myself helps create the vision I have for my life and my business.

7. What is your #1 marketing tip for fellow female entrepreneurs?

Find a niche.  We cannot be everything to everybody.  A lot of people think if they focus in on a niche they will miss out on business opportunities.  I have found the opposite to be true.  Once I started focusing on a niche more business opportunities have presented themselves.  Plus I am much happier now as I am being more authentic than ever before by focusing on working in my niche market.
