SheBrand recently orchestrated the red carpet and press coverage for a fundraising event for the Children’s Justice Campaign. On Tuesday May 12th, more than 150 people united at the Beverly Hills home of Julia Sorkin to support actress Kelly Rutherford and her non-profit.
The Children’s Justice Campaign was created to heighten awareness about the need to increase the constitutional rights of children in the justice system.

Just a few of the women who walked the red carpet in support of Kelly and the CJC included: Selma Blair, Marcia Cross, Kris Jenner, Melanie Griffith, Cheryl Tiegs, Frances Fisher and Marianne Wiliamson. While guests mingled and sipped Dom Perignon, they heard from attorney Lisa Bloom, CJC Co-Founder Patrice Lenowitz, Kelly’s attorney Wendy Murphy, and Rutherford herself.

The Children’s Justice Campaign seeks to educate the general public about the health and safety risks to children exposed to current family court practices, using statistics, scientific research, expert and victim testimony. The Children’s Justice Campaign mission is to inspire Americans to take action, demanding transparency and accountability within our courts, and ultimately transforming standards of practice that will honor the needs of a child by making their physical and emotional well-being the top priority in divorce and custody litigation
