The Honorable Lili Bosse and Angella Nazarian, author of Visionary Women
The official launch was held at the Beverly Hills home of The Honorable Lili Bosse. More than 500 women turned out to dine on Spago delectables and hear inspiring words from both Bosse and Nazarian, Co-Founders of the women’s non-profit leadership organization of the same name, Visionary Women.
The book is the story of 20 fearless women from across the globe whose vision transformed the world and will continue to do so. A few of the women profiled include: Helen Keller, Amelia Earhart, Sandra Day O’Connor, Miuccia Prada, Katherine Graham, Maya Angelou, and Marie Curie, with a foreword by the executive director of the Georgetown Institute for Women, Melanne Verveer.
In addition to author and speaker, Angella was a professor of Psychology and faculty member at Mount Saint Mary’s College, California State University Long Beach, and Los Angeles Valley College for eleven years. She has been conducting workshops and seminars on topics related to women’s personal growth, innovation and leadership, and has been a keynote speaker at various national events and conferences including the YPO-WPO Global Leadership Conference in Los Angeles and the YPO Women’s LEAN IN Conference in Miami.
